In as little as 7 months (for full time students) up to 12 months (for part time students), you can already consider yourself a professional massage therapist and you can also already be well on your way to a promising and highly lucrative massage therapy career. This, with the existence of the Arizona School of Massage Therapy.

The Arizona School of Massage Therapy (ASMT), which has 18 solid years of massage therapy school experience, is located at Tempe and has seven massage schools in four western states namely Phoenix, Arizona, Las Vegas, Nevada, Salt Lake City and Utah Valley, Utah and Westminster and Aurora, Colorado. All of the branches are popular, nationally accredited learning institutions that offer quality massage therapy training and massage courses. Two of ASMT's popular programs include the professional massage therapy program and the master bodyworker massage program. In the former, students learn light energy work, techniques and methods of treating specific body aches and pains, structural modalities of bodywork, aspects involved in the holistic approach to health, wellness and healing as well as Eastern and Western massage techniques and related theories. Students are also taught first aid and CPR, anatomy, physiology, pathology and psychology studies. Such are incorporated in the curriculum. Notably, this program exceeds the standards set even by the national certification body and by most state and municipal governments' licensing arms. In as short as 7 months, students are taught the art and science of massage, the theories and ways of implementing techniques and sound business practices. All of these truly groom the students not only to be good massage therapists but really effective and sought after specialists.

Under the master bodyworker massage program, on the other hand, students are provided advanced massage therapy training. The said program, which builds on the foundation of the professional massage therapy program, increases the students' skill sets to aid treatment and wellness, expands on protocols for treatment to address other diseases and bodily dysfunctions, trains the students to become experts in as many sought after massage techniques as possible, lets the students graduate with advanced knowledge in multiple disciplines and exposes the students to greater opportunities.
